The Agusan del Sur – School of Living Traditions or ASLT prepares to begin its third year of operations, thanks to the continued support of the National Commission for Culture and Arts, the Tao Foundation for Culture and Arts, and the Cultural Masters of Agusan del Sur. Dr. Rhodora Toyong and Bae Lucy Rico remain the ASLT’s leaders, with the able assistance of Kiken Toyong, Saddam Conde-Jamboy, JP Camino (the Administrative team), and Agusan del Sur’s Cultural Masters led by Bae Suyam, Ebeng Coguit, Robilyn Coguit, Datu Makalipay, Datu Manlinoglinog, Datu Hagupit, Datu Mandonkuan, and Datu Boyet (the Programs Team). For its third year, the ASLT hopes to focus on the transmission of knowledge of performing arts, in addition to the teaching of suyam (embroidery), customary law, environment, rituals, cuisine, and medicine.
